Hey Mikuláš Prokop — thanks for pointing that out. After reading a bit more on that change, I’d still refer to the Moz article, though I acknowledge it was written before the May update. Essentially, descriptions are used differently in various areas of Google, and Google also keeps changing the rules. My suggestion: your descriptions ought to make sense and pack a punch within the first 110–150 characters. Everything after that could help but won’t hurt. Thanks again!
